Conspiracy Theory Definition
are conspiracies everywhere, or are people just paranoid?
conspiracy theory: attempts to explain the cause of an event as a secret, and often deceptive, plot by a covert alliance. (wikipedia definition)
men on the moon... the holocaust... the september 11th plane crash into the pentagon... weapons of mass destruction in iraq... the existence of ALL have been contested.
here's a case you may NOT have heard about: the late senator paul wellstone (D-minn) was killed in a 2002 plane crash north of duluth. he was a polarizing force, very liberal politically. for this reason he made many friends, and a few enemies as well. the plane crashed in an accident during a snowstorm... but there's more to it.

if you think hard enough, you can always come up with a reason why or why not. it all depends on what you WANT to believe. are conspiracies really that prevalent, or are people just paranoid?

I made up my mind by looking up the definitions in my dictionary just to make it clear to myself that I can make an informed decision.
I know now that I am definitely NOT paranoid! WHEW!!! Good to know that!
I don't believe that conspiracies or conspirators are extremely prevalent EVERYWHERE. There are instances or occurrences that happen,and personally I think the news and other media sources play it up all they can. Who knows! Do they want us all to be paranoid? I for one will not let that happen. I don't think I have even a suspicious nature to my personality. Who knows again! Maybe I'm just being naive?!
