Is the Biblical definition for discipleship the same as salvation?
I ask this is reference to a quote from a great daily devotion I read ("My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers). Here is the quote, and if you are interested a link to the daily devotional...
"Our Lord never requires the same conditions for discipleship that he requires for salvation."

Discipleship the same as Salvation = No;
Salvation, is a gift from God, ''for by grace are ye saved through faith''
Discipleship = is the mentoring of a pupil or leaner who accepts the
Teachings and Doctrine of the Bible, concerning the teachings of God.
Discipleship is not about works, but rather disciplining someone
in the teachings of God's Word.
